heater not working ed fairmont i have changed the climate controll unit fan the restioer keep getting e3 code
any one knows what it stands for

its a blend door error.

try calibrating it .

if recalibrating it doesn't work, you will have to replace the blend door motor, which means taking out the dash. I have the same problem and have just gotten used to wearing a jacket in winter...

Blend door is E2, not E3.
If you followed the link in my above post you'd see E3 is for the cabin sensor.

well i have changed thesenser with four other ones done nothing what now
i really need to get working
