hey all, i've got my hands on a 1988 EA Falcon GL wagon and I wanna upgrade the cluster to the S pack one. I read the techo docs but can I just install the S pack dash loom (plus oil sender) and it will work? thanks!

you should be able to just plug the s pac cluster straight in and swap the oil pressure switch for a oil pressure sender and it should work fine...

thanks heaps guys, i'll give it a go and see what happens. the dash is cracked so it will need to come out anyway so i might swap the loom while im at it. plus there's no wiring for the clock cause its 1 of the first EAs.

you will also find there should be a clock plug in your loom already...
there was in my my old series 1 ea..

but if the dash has to come out anyway its not going to matter....

ok this is one of them really early EA's that didn't have all the wiring cause i plugged the cluster in and both the tacho and the volt meter don't appear to work. i'm guessing from reading the techo doc that i'll either need to add the wiring or maybe use a s pak loom :(
