im making my new dash cluster but the problem i have is printing. What do i have to do to make it the right size to fit the dash. Do i just print it and hope its the right size.
The other thing i read that some forum members just used glossy photo paper. I just want to make sure this is the right stuff.

hey stomper,
If you are using the templates off fordmods it should be a case of click & print and it will be the same size while using photoshop...
If you are printing it out I hope you are using a A grade polimer film or have the best damn paper on the market because it will look s**t otherwise
Hope this helps

Dont go by gsm, gsm means grams per square meter which in some cases means weight of paper or thickness... Say if you have a 200 gsm A4 it is a floppy but firm paper and if you cut it down into buisness card size its a tougher thickness, normal everyday is 80 gsm which is a standard printing paper....
What you want to do is... ask for a photo quality paper (bright gloss white) and get a 120 to 150 gsm so it can still be flexible, when they print it out it wont be glossy but a matte because of the print over the top unless asked to gloss, then it will be easy to trim (with scalpel not scissors).... just thought I'd help more so again, working in the printing industry helps

As for size i just print it straight off photoshop and it will be all good.

Also i have a Canon i455. Its a great printer for $20. (mates rates)
