Hi i asked a couple of weeks ago about installing a fairmont TC in my EF futura and got some good feedback. just checking though as i ask my mech/ autoelectrician who said that it would not work properly as there is a special module unit the the fairmont tank that controls the mileage part of the TC. is there anyone who has actually done it and had it work 100% cause i dont want to bother if it doesnt work properly. also is anyone selling a complete unit with wiring. also i am after a pair of sun visors with vanity mirror sliding covers grey ones. :D

It does work 100%. You have to add a data wire to the instrument cluster.

In fact I have a copy of the Ford installation instructions here if you PM me your address (street address not email) I'll mail one out to you.

Dude I meant PM (private message) me so not everyone can see your address.
I have written it down now so if you want to edit your post and remove it you can.

I'll send one your way tomorrow and you should get it next week sometime.

Cheers

It does work 100%

My EL Futura has had a TC installed and the fuel usage figures over 1000+ kays were near 100% to what I was actually getting.
