I have pulled out my odometer to put white gauges in but have broken it... I have another one out of a Taxi but it reads just over 490 000K's and mine onley reads 193 765K's is there any way I can get my new odomerter down to that???

yep - swap the little rom chip over which holds the ks done, few threads on here on how to do it, or you can take it to an elec place to have done for you. have a search and read the tech doco's

compliance plate WILL have OPT20 on it if it were a police spec.

Ok I have had a look and it has th OT20 right behind the date... I was looking to sell it how much do you think it is worth??? and is there any way of finding out it I have the police ECU???

It'll be worth about the same as any other EF in its class.
Being an ex police car doesn't mean its RARE. Its just got a few goodies the GLi didn't have. almost an unmarked XR, without the engine, without manual and without a body kit. Thats if it has the 3.23:1 lsd, camber kit, swaybars etc.
