found a little prob with ef monty, being 6"3 i hit the roof everytime i sit in it, so if anyone can think of a solution other than cutting roof off am all ears... was thinkin just swapping seats with another model ford but dont know which one would be lower

other than having the seat back rested down a little(suffer from same drama and have a nice patch of where my head would be on my old hoodlining) you could try to channel the seat base lower over the rails as hot rodders do the the body over its chassie.

Are you good with metal fabrication? I had same issues with a car i had, i modified the rails and how they mounted to the seat and gained about 1.5 inches.

If not, maybe someone you know could do it?

Get EL front seats. I used to have the same problem, and swapped the EF seat frames for EL frames.

Very easy job, and as they sit lower it solved the problem for me.

Straight bolt ons, 0 mods required. Took less than an hour getting them out of the car, swapping my EF trim/cushions onto the EL frames, and getting them back in the car.

If you don't wanna swap frames, you could always just go EL front seats - I swapped frames so I could keep my trim matching.

Let me know how much clearance you have after doing this mod EFNA

I'm 6'6 and want to put sunroof in my Lane but as you know there's just no headroom after instal due to lower hoodlining

If i can get around inch of clearance i'll go get the roof down the road :)
