Guys I need to replace the crash pad in my EL(the top of the dash), can I replaces the crash pad without having to replace the whole dash...

You mean the bit right at the front where the tweeters are?
There are just 2 phillips head screws, one on each side, then it just pulls up and out

To get the screws out you can either get a tiny screw driver, or do what I do and get a phillips head attachment out of your drill set and a 1/4" spanner.

Crash pad is the whole dash, either way, where it does separate, the whole thing has to come out.

I relise the whole dash has to come out but can I just replace the cover of the dash (the top)without changing the whole dash over..

bad news you have to take the compleate dash out and change it over with a replacement top half of the dash or get it recovered.

Oh ok in that case it's quicker and probably cheaper to just grab another dash

You can change the top half over with the dash in the car. Just need to partly remove and tilt it forward. About 20 self tappers and 5 machine screws and it will separate. Swap and your done.

45mins to and hour job.

Just gotta feel your way around for the screws.. there are a few of em.

Obviosuly you will need to take off cluter/climate fascia first and remove PAB if you have one.
