ok my bcm is fine but my doors wont lock with the remote,but they will unlock.
when i try to lock them the indicators flash and it toots at me but they wont actually lock. the actuators are fine,and iv tried other ones to be sure. with the key all the doors lock and unlock. the battery in the remote is only a few months old and still good. any ideas???

Thats usually what happens when you try to lock the car with the remote when a door isnt closed properly.
Make sure all dorrs are closed properly. Sounds like one of the door switches isn't playing thew game. |

noticed last night that my dash switch doesnt lock the doors,what does this mean??

same thing happened in my mates EL Fairmont. I had a look and one of the door locks was sitting up too high (or low cant remember) and the locking mechanism wouldn't allow the car to lock. I just pulled the lock off and put it back on properly and it worked fine.

ive done all that,but the dash switch does nothing at all
