Hey guys , i own a fg xr6 ute mk 2 and purchased some second hand leather seats to replace the basic ones that were also from a fg ute (not sure what series ) and I noticed that they had one less plug then my factor seats but they went in fine but now my airbag light on the dash is on so I'm wondering how to get rid of it or if in the event of a car crash will this affect my airbags at all? Thanks

Hi mate, your old seats would have had airbags, new seats do not, hence the missing plug. You will need to purchase some seats with side airbags and plug them in to remove the warning light

Or you can get the resistor plugs from the ute that the new seats came from. They clip onto the plugs on the looms that the seats used to. obviously you won't have seat airbags anymore, but the light should go out.
