Could always try a LED globe or even wire in an extra light. I plan in wiring in an extra light on both the drivers and passenger footwells.

I'd be interested in other people's thoughts on this too. A mate of mine used the parker globes that came with a set of Phillips "Crystal Vision" headlight globes and they worked pretty well.

This is mine... As much as I would love to re-write it all... I'm just going to link my build thred page instead as I'm in a slightly lazy mood... :D

the-garage-f53/re-timmya-s-93-ed-falcon-new-mags-are-on-t79040-195.html

Not sure if I mentioned it in there... But the drivers side is cable tied to the upp steering column (part that doesn't turn)... And Passengers side, I pulled the glove box out... Drilled a few small holes in the plastic that runs between the two hinges for the glove box on the bottom of the dash and cable ties the light to there...

Cheers,
Tim

yeah go the SMD LED's, i spliced mine from the footwell light and kept them going too, nice bright larger coverage, only problem is a little lip, nothing decent pliers won't snip off and help broaden the lightspread.
plus for a few bucks off ebay, can't go wrong.
