I've got a problem with my EF - it started yesterday. The car seems to have half died in the a***. When it is running it's fine, but when not running the troubles begin.
First of all I noticed the central locking stoped working (the red light on the keypad still illuminates though). Then I noticed that when I opened the doors the interior lights did not come on. The Smartlock light is not flashing on the dash either. Tried to start the car and all the dash lights come to life, but the engine just turns over - it doesn't run (which is extremely weird as this engine usually starts pretty promptly).
So basically when the car is off it's almost as though the battery is diconected (yet the battery is fine sitting on 12.x Volts).
Any ideas? Dead BEM?
