ive done a search on here and hav found little info which help me.

ive managed to get the 2 sides off which cover the bottom half of the stereo. then ive unscrewed the 4 screw which hold the bottom half in place. but this is as far as i can go. surely u dont hav ta take all the plastic off to get the bastard out.

much help appreciated

What exactly are you trying to connect? If your looking for the speaker outputs, 3 are in the drivers kick panel, and the other in the passenger one.
There isnt much to get to behind the ICC as far as wiring.

Pop the cover off the top of the air vents, theres a couple screws to undo underneath it.
Remove the gear selector surround and remove the side panels
Remove the tissue holder.
Theres 2 or 3 wiring plugs up in the bottom of the ICC, unplug them.
Depends which order you do it, sometimes a couple relays will buzz.
Then the ICC should pretty much come out forwards.
DO NOT TIP IT OVER / UPSIDE DOWN.

Its a peace of piss, remove the gear shroud and then the 2 plastic boomaran wing on either side which r held in by 1 phillips head screw hiddin under the gear shroud so you will beable to c them when u take it off, remove the tissue box, and up top of the ICC there will be a removable plastic panel, take that off and if its ur first time u might think that ur goin 2 break it but its cool as pie u wont. then there is another phillips head screw up there (just 1) take that out and then there is 2 10mm screws on either side of the ICC, take these out. Unplug 4 wires under the ICC and the ariel and then it will pull STRAIGHT out, as in pull it stright out dont try and twist it or anythin and when u r puttin it back in make sure you put it STRAIGHT back in or u could damage the pins in the back of the ICC oh and dont let FORD know ur doin this or they will prob give u a nice big fat VOID!
It is a peace of piss but make sure u dont turn it upside down at all costs.

Cheers
Griffo

Yeah,

You wont need to remove the ICC.
The rear speaker connections are available in the drivers kick panel, so is the one for the drivers door speaker
Front passenger speaker wiring is in the front passenger kick panel.

im not sure,
but when i was at FTg we sold a few to people who had done it and stuffed there screens!

I think its more so ford cant make a screen, as most of the people pulling the icc out would be the mechanics at ford so it would cost ford more money if it was intended that way
