Hey all,
Installed a trip comp into my ED the other week with no trouble. It all works fine apart from the instant L/100k- at no throttle, it shows up as 99! as soon as you give the car throttle, it goes down to its proper figure. What gives? |

I think that's the way the older TC's work.
The EF/EL ones show 0. But if you think about the maths, you're using fuel and going nowhere, so that'd be infinite L/100.

Yeah true. Probably more accurate having 99 instead of 0.

Dont worry about it. As long as it shows the normal figures when accerlating then its fine.

my ZL - with its now deciding to work TC.. shows up as 99 when im idling it.. if that helps

I think thats normal... some times when my ignition is on, but the engine isn't running and I choose "instant L/100k" it will read "99".
