I wish to paint the centre console, or whatever it's called(the big piece that has the lid on it) black. I read about a primer that PPG make that is like an etch type primer for most plastics and you can then paint straight on top of it without sanding. Does anyone know where in Melbourne I can buy PPG paint in retail form(i.e. spray can as that's what they come in) from?
So far to date I have tried sanding back a small portion(where the rear vents sit) and also cleaning with acetone however the paint does not stick, and peels off readily, whereas the paint on the cup holders, glovebox, and fuse panel has adhered very well.

I will get some pics up when my server is back up and running.
