I'm after some clarification as I'm running an au console in my xg and am not sure how they fix the gear boot to the console.

Is there a plastic insert or something that I'm missing?

the actuall console is the same from auto to manual, i believe in au the manual gear boot mounts to the plastic shift base that the console screws to like in au auto..

Thanks troyman. So it just screws to the surrounding area around the gear stick, underneath?
