Ford keep a record don't they of the stereo security codes? Just ring them with the VIN of the vehicle?
O, and before someone asks why I don't just ring them, it's because they're shut for Easter...

correct. sometimes the radio code is written in the owners manual

I am of the belief that you have to present the car at the dealership to get the code.

yeah ford keep them but it depends on the dealer if they will give it to ya over the phone, some will, some wont and some even want to charge you a fee of like $15-$20. best bet is try a few dealers over the phone and see how you go.

As said, if you have the owners manual its likely to be written on the front or back cover inside, can't remember which.

either that or ever time i've had a look i any f ours we've had a random business card with it on it.

Exactly, or atleast see if they charge if you go in, as it's a bloody rought.
It takes them a minute to type in the vin, not like your asking them for details related to a commodore.

i went into a dealer and gave them the VIN number and they gave me the code free. but i had to wait for 30mins cause they said some of the old codes are harder to get :?

ring up a dealer and say you are from such and such mechanics or whatever with the vin
then they'll give you the code :)
worked for me... was NOT gunna pay $20 for the code to MY radio.
