hey guys,
As some of you know i have been hunting around for ages for ltd woodgrain air vents for my el wagon
These are are so very rare, i have not yet found one person who is willing to get rid of a set
So i was thinking, of getting some vents from the wreckors, and using some wood grain contact, from the craft shop, to cover the pastic.
Reckon it will look alright?

Contact will look s**thouse.

Here's some ideas: ford-x-series-f29/xh-woodgrain-part-2-t41054.html
Try and find the thicker stick on stuff, and rework it as per in the link.
EF/EL vents are more rounded though, so will be harder.

Use spray can acrylic clear, not enamel.

You fella's reckon you have it tough. I gotta fill a one inch gap between an early E series dash top half and a late E series dash bottom half which doesnt quite meet up at the stereo fascia area. Im thinking of either getting some mdf and making a dummy up or just going straight to timber and using a strip of miranti or something, making a transition piece much the same as the B series has that silver strip across its dash. Now thats a head f**k.
