Probably need a bit more info on what you wanna achieve. What kind of racing do you have in mind? Drag racing, circuit racing etc?

Do you have a particular budget to spend on the car?

Whats the futura like? How many kms has it done? Auto or manual?

Ok well here are some basic ideas for some more power/handling.

1. Extractors (if you decide to go with out turbo) 2.5” exhaust, 150-cell cat. (None if you don’t want to drive it on road or live in NZ)
2. Camshaft (depending on what and where you want the power will depend on lobe hight etc….)
3. Intake (most like to use a 3” aluminium setup)
4. Valves (new stronger springs, bigger valves etc….)
5. Blueprint (head, block, will be good to port out the head a bit too)
6. Compression (shaving a few thou off the head will increase compression, if you go for a turbo/supercharger set up then you will need less compression)
7. Springs/Shocks (harder maybe a bit lower for better centre of gravity)
8. Sway bars (stiffer/bigger)
9. Take out rear seats (make fake floor) take out passenger side front seat
10. Door trims, speakers, stereo, carpet, spare tire, boot trim etc….
11. (9 and 10 are if you decide to just use it on track)
12. Better spark plugs (wont really see any difference in power)
13. Better spark leads (again no real difference in power)
14. Bigger radiator (like 50mm aluminium)
15. Take out air-conditioning unit, replace water pump with electric
16. Move battery to boot
17. Install racing drive shaft
18. If you have an auto get it rebuild and ported (better to replace it altogether)

All this is just really the basic set up. There are a lot more you can do like ECU, rollcage etc etc, this is just a guideline. Hope this helps :)
