Well i finally got around to getting some paint for the dash.

I decided on Satin Black cause i kinda hate grey sooo much.

Got a can of paint from super cheap fro $14. They didnt ask a 16 year old for ID...f**k whoops.

They look a little purple because of the light. The trip computer on the milk crate looks to the right colour.

Next i am painting th black strips on the front and rear of the car to make it look claners. Im tring to get ahold of fairmont ext. door trims to go with it.

Im going to get another carpet and leave it in a bucket of black dye.

I need another can of paint for the door trims. Im going to paint the top half of the door trim satin black but i dont know what colour to paint the bottom half (2-tone like stock). I also have to recover the fabric on the doors so i think ill do that in leather (black) and the console lid while im at it.

Yeah i really hate an unfinished job.

I had another brain wave. I am going to make a leather gear boot for the EF. It is still an auto but it will make the car look cleaner. This also means i upgrade to LTD cluster or make something to tell what gear its in.

you can do the air con surround.
pull all the nobs off, and u can unclick the front face.
then pull the sticker part off (that has all the writing on it)
then paint it, restick the sticker on :)

you can see it done in this:
