no worries... when are you expecting them?

Really should have gone a 2 pin switch like I said, but its only making it more confusing to yourself. With that 3 pin. 12v from cig lighter on the middle pin. 12v to the neon on either outside one (doesnt matter which one). Again, NEGATIVES DONT GO ON THE SWITCH.

Also, I reckon you might have to put the positive to the neons on that gold terminal Id say that where the led gets its power.

Sorry but I will disagree with you here...

Reading the listing it is a SPST switch... the two silver pins are the normal 2 pin switch you talk about... the gold pin is not part of the switch... it is the LED... well one side of it... the other side of the led is linkes to one of the two silver pins... this gives added advantage of using the LED for other things rather than being limited to when switch is "on"...

You cannot hook from the middle to either side... it will not work...

Cheers,
Tim

so could it potentially be..

positive from ciggy on one silver, positive from term to the other silver, splice the led positive into the neon positive?

maybe...

I would draw it up for you now... the thing is I need to know which other pin the led is hooked to, and its polarity... as they will only light up when hooked one way... so i need to know that too to get it to work... No point hooking the wiring wiring with the LED in backwards... It wont hurt it, but it just wont work...

Cheers,
Tim

I put neons in my ED in the front foot wells its a pretty easy job, i bought a switch and mounted it on a small peice of cheker plate (which now covers where my ash try used to be). I ran the negative strait from the Neon to the switch, then i ran the positive from the back of my cigaret lighter to my switch, then to my neon, i can upload pics if you want. im not that good at wiring but this is a really easy way to do it.

Have Fun.

My footweel LED's are just triggered off the door circuit... I had a bypass switch and never used it... So when my dash was out I changed it to just plain courtesy lights...

I like having all the factory switch positions filled... I reckon it makes it look like a pov pack when they are all blanked off... I used the power antenna height button to bypass the door switches and turn them on all the time... didn't even know it was there unless you knew what you were looking for... that button now shuts down my amp (for the sake of it doing something now I made my lights straight off the doors...)

na speakers are off the head unit...

Only reason I do it is to avoid a flat battery... It is triggered off the head unit and the switch is in series... So I can manually turn it off... For when you working on the car for a whole day can listen to music without the sub for the sake of background noise without the motor going and less risk of going flat on you... :D

If I had another use for the switch I'd use it for something else... As to date... I got nothing so I wasn't having a blank plate there... and a switch that did nothing so I gave it the best purpose I could come up with at the time... :D I hate the look of blanking plates... but thats just me...

easy on the jizzing... you can give grandmas a heart-attack doing that (American Pie ;))

I had to drive 4 hours to Goulburn to get mine... Bought it home on the tilt tray tow truck... stock as rock... 8-) looks nothing like it did now... the old people who owned it would be horrified

my brothers have autos... they do nothing for me... I like the feel of manual, esp when you drive the identical car, just with a manual trans... no slip in the driveline (as torque converters do), unless you wanna ride the clutch  but I like getting the power to the pavement... 8-)

you'll get matey... it all costs big money... I'd hate to know how much I've spent  its been fun though...
