I RETRACT MY STATEMENT do not hook your negative up to the switch, just your positive, you only need to break the ciruit thts what the switch is for lol, youd think after all the blown fuses i would of rememberd that.

We already discussed not hooking your negative to your switch... I noticed you said that... Couldn't be bothered complaining :D

Cheers...

well i know which one the positive is.. but unsure of the other 2..

also my neons arrived.. to quickly test them out can i hook them up straight to the battery just to see how they glow before i install them? or will that blow them?

Cheers

As long as they are 12 volt neons... straight accross the battery is fine...

picture on that switch isn't very helpful...

Can you test where the led is for me?

Two shorts bits of wire... Wrap one around the gold terminal, and one around one of the silvers ones (take a guess)... be careful they aren't touching and turn the switch off... put the gold terminal one on the negative terminal and the other on the positive terminal... if the LED lights tell me which silver terminal you used to get it to light, if it doesn't light, try the other silver terminal...

With that info I'll draw a quick pic and PM it to you...

In other words, the gold terminal should be the ground side of the LED, just need to know which other pin the LED is hooked to to make it light (i'm leaning on the outside silver terminal...)

Hope that makes sense... :?

Cheers,
Tim
