the little button that is depressed/relased when the doors are opened/closed is where i earthed mine out worked fine.

but if you can find some way of tapping into the interiour light you should be sweet as

from memorie there is a fulltime live wire that powers the light in the glovebox, just splice that. easy enough.

find were the interior light wiring loom is and tap into it - according to the tech docs on EF/EL there one running below the radio. have a look in the tech docs see if gives any hints for ED too.
and cable ties I found were the best for mounting the tubes.

Hehe yeh go the ol zip clip...cable ties were how i secured mine... nice n simple and neatly hides everything....far better than trying to f@rt around with a proper bracket or doin a bodgy with pvc tape etc...

Thinking of doing this!

I understand the principals of basic wiring, but whats the go with the led's? Do i have to buy them already set up, or can i buy them loose and wire them up where ever I like?
Are they 12volt?

You buy L.E.D's loose from prick smith or any hobby shop, they are suited to low voltage applications BUT you need to make sure you have the right resistor for the application, or it'll just blow. Also frosted L.E.D's tend to spread the light where as clear ones tend to send in a straight line.
