Whenever i get in my car every time i sit down in the front seat only, be it passenger or driver... they both make a noticable click! noise. only when you have the sudden sit down....
if it helps i have the leather prem upgrade, and the drivers seat is electrically adjustable... no idea why the hell it does it, starting to piss me off! tried looking under neath but found nothing odd sooo f**k wierd!

BA seats are common to have the seat bases cracking. Maybe your seat base is cracked.

Im Not 100% sure, My mate has a BF that has squeaky seats and he took it to Ford and mentioned it to be looked at during service and thats what they said that its common for them to crack.

Usual cause seems to be if your a tall and on the heavy side. You generally push the so far back it kinda hangs over the edge of the floor brackets so it has a bit of unsupported weight to deal with.
Last I saw the cracks they were only very small and on each side at the rear of the base. Hard to explain, but the enter of the base is kind of cut out and on the back corners of the centre cut out, where it curves, it cracks on the curves. When you sit down the cracks rub causing noises. Easier to see if you take the seat out. |

my dads got a 03 ba ghia with the leather seats and same things happens. Must just be cos its leather

Must just be cos its leather yer it must be something to do with the leather, becuz it isnt becuz of my weight or tall i aint even 6 ft and i aint heavy either, so yer i think theres just somethign cracked and each time without fail you sit down and it does it
