help! i took the instrument cluster out breifly and then put it back in. as far as i can tell all the wires are correct and the cluster works perfectly but the odometer no longer works!! wats goin on here? its an ed fairmont.

my odo was not working on my old ED.Had 2 get it fixed 4 roadworthy a few months ago.Was the little plastic cog inside the speedo.Paid $15 for a new cog from mechanic in town.Easy 2 fix if this is the drama.
