anyone heard of ezchill AC refills? the old falc is a little asthmatic in the heat & not that I use it much, but the times I do, it'd be good if it worked.

im actually going to be looking for a A/C Refil my self for the NF its gas has expired sadly
 i would recommend taking it to a dedicated A/C fella and make sure they have a current A/C Gas License and if it were me i would just get them to replace all the seals its easier this way make sure he tests it and gases it properly dad has taken TONES of cars to mech for A/C gas and they just dont get it right they leak some in a yr or 2 or some in a month they just dont know there stuff price depends if youve been converted to the latest gas if not i believe its roughly $300-$400 otherwise a gas refil with seal replacement and check should be in a $100 area its recommended to use your A/C everyday even if you dont need it to keep the seals lubricated so they dont crack A/C gas expires every 10yrs roughly despite common belief it never expires im sorry but it does everything expires

had a call around, Bursons have a can for $25 but you need $200 worth of fittings to get the gas in there so they basicly priced themselves out of the market.

Last time I had to do a re-gas, it cost me $92 all up.
This was for the A/C regas, and a blue slip (as this is when I changed my engine). This was from a car yard, not a mechanic/auto elec. it will probably be cheaper at these places. The A/C regas itself would probably cost no more than $50-60.

I just took my NF into get regassed, turned out to be an expensive exercise.
Turns out some hose from the compressor to the drier (?) near the radiator has burst. And ford dont make it anymore. Had to get a whole hose kit from a place in Sydney, and it aint cheap. And then still the re-gas on top of that...

There are that many beong wrecked, that it should not be that dear to replace the whole system with second hand parts. When I did my engine swap, we had to replace the receiver/dryer. That was a whole $30 from Bursons. I am sure that someone on here would sell the lines to/from the compressor for $50 off a car that they are wrecking. I paid $150 for the lines from the TX valve, to the compressor and from there to the receiver/dryer. That was because I needed V8 stuff. 6 cyl will be a lot cheaper.

call Bendigo Auto Air. they do it mobile. they come to you. cost me $110 just over a year ago to get the EB regassed. in that $110 they replaced a leaking 'O' ring. worked sweet ever since

thats fair cheap but be weary about some air con places, just pee in your pocket about epa laws and try to baffle you with bull and charge you heaps.

You require a license to do A/C regas work these days people, that's why the gear isn't so cheap. Best to take your A/C system to a workshop & get it done. I had mine done about 3 years ago now, and after replacing a hose that leaked it's been working great since.

aint as simple and slapping a few hundred grams of gas, you NEED to vac the system down.
