i am wanting to know the best way to put a power source in the boot of my ba mkII XR6, Eg. whats the easiest wire to tap into...

All i am after is to have a socket (Cig lighter) behind the carpet in the boot above the Jack on the opposite side to where the amp is.

Sorry if this is a stupid question but i do not not know that much about this.

Yeah man, just run a new wire. Mate of mine did a bad thing and wired his amp into the rear demister...........dont ever do that. turned the demister on one morning and shattered his back window. Do it proper, not bodgy, never works the way you want it to.

Depends on when you want it to have power. When accessories are on or all the time?

i dont know if its the easiest, but myself, i would be running a wire from the cig lighter in your dash to the boot one cos its pretty easy to get at, i had to to run the remote wire to my amp, thats a good idead though, could put one of those waeco fridges in the boot too.
