Hi,
Both my driver's side power windows shat themselves today.
I was winding them up, and when they got to the top they made a 'snap' sound and dropped back down a bit.
Now they will only wind down, not up.

What do I have to do to fix them? :(

you gotta pull the door trims off...and see why its not going up. If it budges a little bit when going up then we all know the switches work...so it must be the actuator (is that the word for it?) that is stuffed. If not since you said SNAPPED...it might actually be the wires tied together somehow or actually...schnapped. Either way you have to pull the door trims off and see whats happening behind it.

good luck =D

phong =P~

That looks like it man, cheers.
I can't believe they both did it at the same time.
I think it must have been the heat.

Being a n00b though, I tried several times to wind the window up and down. I hope I didn't stuff it.

Guess what.
I stuffed it lol. The cable is buggered.

Time for a new regulator :(
The washer trick worked though.
