To the OP - What about installing a simple set of marine speakers in the tray??

In addition to this... could you run a duel batery set-up to be able to run accesories without having starting issues afterwards?

Yeah I was looking at a set of fusion marine speakers, but not sure if I'll need them if I have a hardcover... Though would be a good for added security to the life of the speakers.
And yeah, I was planning on having an extra battery just for that sake... Though also upgrading the alternator.
