Ive read the tech doco on AU sound sysytem removal but removing the centre consoul shroud , by uncliping it from the instrument faschia(as stated in info) is not that easy it feels as though im about to break the centr consol (black plastic) shroud if i try lever it out with small flat head screw driver. Is this the correct way? anyone with any ideas would be great as dont want to break it pulling it apart when there should be an easier way. I only want to pull it out to hook up amp and phone mute wire.
cheers chris

Hey not sure if its the same as a single cd...

But the tool can be made out of a coat hanger. 4 lengths.

On the single cd there is 4 holes, so insert all four, and then using both right and left hand squeeze the two (top and bottom) in your right hand and the same for the left , then just bring your left and right hand together and pull and it should pop out. NOT to much force is needed, I did use to much force and busted top right clip...

sorry if it's not rel to your question

your right dude. What the coat hangers or tools do is push the clips that hold the radio into the dash towards the radio itself, so the end your holding needs to go towards the doors of the car.
hope that makes sense
