Okay, so I need to remove my dash out of my Xh so I can locate a leak, would someone be able to shed a little bit of light on how, and where to start?

I would start by getting a service manual. It will have instructions, and Pics of hard to see bolts. ( and numbers of ) Most things come out easily when you take out the hidden bolt ! There may be a CD available, it may even be worth having a look at a Ute at a Wrecker if you can. Most will be partly stripped out so you can see connections and mounting bolts.
