was it you that asked about the sound system going to 18 on volume after starting up?

Yeah, it reduces to 18. So it will stay at whatever volume you had it on, provided that is 18 or below. If you have it above 18, then it will reduce to 18 next time the key is cycled.

So it appears the territory ones have a clock piece attached... Does this make them physically larger than the Fairmont ones? I just can't seem to catch a break

correct ... altho not all & it's a differant shape overall compared to the BA/BF Fairmonts as it has the proviso for the centre light in the terri. the clock is a carry over from the AU....... clock above the heater controls.

so after all the hunting around, the Fairmont sunglasses holder is NOT the same footprint as the territory?

correct terri has a differant base plate [terri is slightly longer & it's slightly wider at the inner sunvisor clips compared to the BA/BF] & if ya want i can throw up some pics to compare em.

*Shrug* Different people like different things; I don't like the AU one. And since I have about as much chance of winning the lottery and buying a unicorn as I do of getting a BA sunglasses holder, it looks like I will have to give up.

Well that's too much mucking around just to add a clock - there's a clock in the ICC, a clock in the AV unit, and the analogue clock on the dash already - don't really need to add a 4th
