Thats wat i thought,there is usually a set on ebay for around $70 with out logo but not at the moment,he's been listing a set every week for the past 6 mths or so best to keep an eye out for them.

$250 is a bit rich, but where else do you get a set?

Keep in mind i paid 175 for my set :o

yeah but how often Does a DF 1 insert come up???

And on top of that, it matchs my existing woodgrain, and it looks a s**t load better then a twin airbag dash 8-)

i just bought the inserts from the BA-BF , sprayed the scuff plates black, and stuck them on , im happy with them, only cost $24. for the inserts.

Is there somewhere you can get your original scuff plates chromed?
Or maybe just paint them and get the inserts like EFNWIKD6 showed.
I also bought those inserts and they are pretty awesome..

theres paint you can buy thats pretty darn close to looking like chrome .. from auto stores.. im not to sure if you can chrome dip plastic ?

you can chrome dip plastic it has to be sprayed with some s**t first so that it bonds to it.. it ends up flaking off eventually.

Does a company do this(& do you happen to know who if so), or do you mean you have to 'dip' it yourself?
I thought bout the painting but I thought it might look tacky as painted.
