Hey, my XF has a ZL Fairlane cluster, and it's flashing randomly, no tacho, and displaying no voltage, until I unplug one of the main harness connectors under the dash, and it suddenly comes all good, but still has no tacho. I've checked all the earths, made sure everything is firmly plugged in, and I've even disconnected the alternator to check if that had something to do with it, but same thing. I am pretty sure that if I change the dash loom over, it will work fine, but before I do that, I wanna check some other things, basically, what I wanna know is, where can I go from here with it, short of buying a new loom.

Cheers, Gab

i had the same deal in my xf with the digital cluster, nothing would show until i reved it over 3k on start up and then it stayed on, never found out why but it worked for some reason, as for tacho check your signal wire is hooked into the correct pin on the cluster and the right wire on the dizzy, (yellow or blue?)
