I have blue neons in my feet well and i have been turning them on and off by just inserting and removing the cigerette lighter connection. I want to put a switch in one of those black plastic parts near where the boot button is or near the L/U doors button. On the switch it has 3 points coming off of the back of it in which two have wires coming off, a red and a yellow. My question is, how do i make that switch somehow connect into the back of the cigarette lighter so i can turn the neons on and off that way? Thanks

i assume this is on your ED? if so, tap into the cig lighter power, run it to the switch, and wire the neons direct to the switch

dont try to control the cig lighter from the switch, as the switch isnt rated to the full power that a cig lighter can draw, and you definitely dont want the switch burning out if someone decides to plug the lighter in

legally though, you'd be best wiring the neons straight to your footwell lights
