Hi Guys,

About a month ago I put my trip computer into my EF Gli, went without issues and worked well, bar one issue...

I have one issue with it which is the screen flickering when the engine is running and the headlights are on. The display still dims, however it also flickers. If the engine is not running, and the headlights are turned on, the display dims and it does not flicker, ie, its perfect.

I figured it could have been the dimmer signal wire, however it is wired up perfectly according to the tech doc. I am aso using the rear demistor wires (blue/red and brown) for the park lamp signal and the park lamps dimmer signal.

Pins making contact should not be an issue as I used pins out of a dash cluster connector I got from the wreckers

Any ideas as to what could be the cause of my issues would be greatly appreciated.

Well that did the trick.....Works perfectly now, still dims when the headlights get turned on etc....Should it be noted in the tech doc that the dimming wire for the clock is not the same as the dimming wire in fairmonts, and is not required?
