hey all

well, have been thinking about whats next for the interior of the car... i'm kinda running out of ideas! so far i've done the following:

-fairmont cluster w/ LED conversion & silver facia
-trip computer
-'fairmont' dash insert above glovebox
-chrome door handles
-leather handbrake cover w/ chrome button
-black AU forte steering wheel
-AU XR6 auto shifter
-full DF LTD interior
-full woodgrain trimings/shifter surround etc

anyone got any thoughts on improving this set-up at all??

cheers

Sounds like you have covered all bases dude.

Sounds like a Nice setup btw...

The only thing I can think of would be neons. But your interior sounds way too nice / classy to be putting them in.
I'd leave it at that and focus on other parts of the car....??

cheers  yeah i'm thinking i've kinda covered pretty much all that really can be done... :(

hehe yeah it does actually have neons! 2 blue ones, under under each front seat - left there from the previous owner - i've just never been a*** to remove them - they do provide the occasional laugh though!

no CC, and it won't be going in - i dont want or need it.

kick panels - which specific panels are we talking here? i was thinking new (decent) black car mats, and the sills at the bottom of the doors...

yeah the TV/DVD set-up was an idea too - but thats a bit more $$$ and knowledge - lol which i dont have! hehe. nah they seem to be going pretty cheap, but its just being confident enough to put it in! and finding a use for it!

I was referring to the plastic panels on the side of the front footwell (i.e. next to pedals on driver side and the one that covers EEC on the passenger side). I think some were avail in cappa, prolly not hard to stick some matching carpet over yourself.

Car audio stuff a lot easier than you may think. Tough bit is figuring out where to put everything and where/how to run cables to connect it all.

i just sold the CC unit i had to neo_nick - i had made that decision already! :P

hmmm... might try track some of those down. i'll talk to some people who may be able to help! :)

yeah i've a double-din surround here - i'd rather not go hacking into the headrests etc in the car, as the interior is rare as hens teeth as it is, let alone me wrecking it any more. i'm just wondering, in reality, what i would really need a TV/DVD in the car for though - would it be a waste of time? portable porn i know, but what else besides that?
