I reckon anything would beat the grey dials in the ELs. I much prefer the black dials in the EFs.

I reckon that top picture in cds70 looks awesome. Blue scales and orange needles. Might have to give that a go and piss off my grey dials.

I swapped my EL dials for EF's. kept the orange needles..

have a gander...

I too think the EF dials are better than the ELs.

Nah, what 96Ghia has is perfect. The EL cluster was butt ugly, but the EF dials were the same colour as the markings on the cluster.

I remember seeing some "Spy" shots of the then new EF falcon, in wheels, a few months before its release... it had an "interesting" hybrid Dash!

It had the EF dials, but the orange needles from the ED...(thats where I got the idea..)
Also had the headlight switch from the ED, in place of the eventual EF item, and a few other interior styling bits and bobs were different.... I wonder if this pic is still lying around somewhere?

I got white dials for my XR a few years ago from SSV for $200 (which was cheap at the time)

I got a set on ebay the other week for my fairy and I like them a LOT better than the ones in my XR, so I am most likely get different ones for my XR now.
