hey guys, jsut a quick question. i have had my ed fairmont for about a week now, and have cleaned it thoroughly, and am stuck with something that seems to have coated the inside of my tinted windows.

its like a gum substance when its wet or heated up, but like a really fine shimmery powder when i scratch it off with my nail.. any ideas on what the hell it is?

i found some drips down the back of the seat when i lift it forward, looks like someone has maybe cleaned the interior with no regards tot he tint?? :?

thanks.

p.s. i heard that aurora is good with this sort of stuff... hint hint... lol

i called tint a car today, and they didnt help at all. quite rude actually.

i thought it might have been the tint coming off, but after successfully getting it off my rear windows, the tint seems fine.... maybe it could be a protective coat over the tint? i bloody hope not. lol.

i would'nt bother taking it off, i know a window tinter that charged me $180 for the darkest legal tint on a vq statesman and he charged me $20 to take the old tint off first, why bother make the tinter earn his money they have all the tools and chemicals to make it easier
cheers
