Yes i've heard you can also do that. I noticed though in my swap that the vac hose arrangement was completly different too. Maybe you have to swap the vac system over aswell?

What is the difference here? Is it where the vacuum controller is mounted differently or where the hoses go on the heater/AC unit? I'm asking because I used my original box with the EF vacuum controller but the climate control doesn't do what it should do ie, face on CC screen but it blows out the demister....

I've done a CC diagnostic check and everything comes up good so it has me beat.

I noticed in the gli one, it had less vac hoses, and they ran different ways. The fairmont was quite different. I'm not sure what the differences actually mean, as i just used all the EF's gear. Mayeb you just have a couple of hoses the wrong way? I did that the first time i ran it. Now sorted though.

id say vac hoses wrong way also but ive also heared that ef and el are different and u cant mix
