Would you be able to put a BA XR series steering wheel into an AU II?

Just have to satisfy my curiosity.

dont see why not but i think it would look outa line wit the rest of the steering column would need to use ba air bag tho also depends on the teeth on the steering column versed the wheel.

i dont think so. au steering wheels fit ef with no mods. but ba wheels will not fit ef, so i'm thinking they will not fit au also

exactly.. EF-AU III are the same and the BA/BF are different... as said earlier they have a different number of teeth from the column to wheel

well in that case it maybe possible if you rplaced the steering column but then it aqlso has teeth where it connects at the bottom of the foot well.

yeah i'm sure its do-able.. but is it worth it just for a steering wheel??

As has been said, won't fit! There is someone on ebay though, selling BA GT style wheels to fit EF-AU for about $200 new.

Check my gallery photo's, i have one of those BA option style steering wheel in my EL, they suit EF EL and AU.
