not to discourage you, but 99% of the BA's ive seen with aftermarket LPG never run right. Because of the electronic fly by wire throttle andhigh tech computer stuff run by ba's LPG confuses the computer.

i have seen a couple of them that run good but yeh
be careful who u deal with

thanks for the info

this mob has been recommended to me, Mews Autos

http://www.mewsauto.com.au/

by the son of a vehicle inspector, so fingers crossed i guess

am hoping it will work out OK as they are in Bibra Lake and i'm in Australind

how many BAs have you had experience of on after market LPG? ... how do you come in contact with them, is it professionally as part of your job or something?

i got the car yesterday, an 03 Fairmont 6cyl and i want to fit a vapour injection system to it

im a motor mechanic and service advisor at range ford maddington, so yes i do come into contact with just a few BA's. We usually get left to clean up the pieces after someone has put aftermarket LPG on them and cant get them to run right...

i've seen a much higher success rate with injection then with the old systems, just make sure u go somewhere someone has reccomended is all im saying...

the Factory gas cars have different heads, throttle body's, valves and ecu programming which is why there is such a difference.. different cams too i believe.

well seeing as your in bunbury lets hope not, but our service costs are pretty competitive with the other big places given that we use genuine parts etc..

I know its not a ba but i had vapour injection installed on my au fairlane which i have had no problems with and it actually runs smoother than being on petrol by perth auto gas in bayswater.
Its a parnell system on it.

I've just booked my EL into T&R Autos in Kelmscott. I've heard they have a good rep. A 3-4 month waiting period.
