i gave an almost new pump away the other day with a brand new filter sock i never used, too bad they also just threw it out |

he threw it out because he didnt think fuel pumps get damaged by dirt, and "the car has an inline filter" not to mention the fuel tank had s**t in it that could be sucked up |

He"ll be changing fuel pumps soon, especially if the fuel level is low, mine was 1/2 full and it f**k the pump ,

No auto shop wants to sell me just tue sock lol yeah well its been through 3 2nd hand standard rodeo pumps in the past year or 2 and the car only ran about half an hour after my almost new falcon pump was put in before it stopped, now a good friend would go down to the auto elecos where the car is now and tell them to try the fuel pump, and maybe replace it and put the filter sock on but he was silly enough to put it inthat way ill let them work it out |

A 255 will fit in the standard cradle, has to be the internal pump not the external. Yes the walbro sock is different, but, modify it. Use the material and re-manufacture it into the same shape as the E series one

I had a 255 in my car before but sold it with the s/c kit .
