Hey
Anyone know where I can get a fuel pump filter sock for stock el falcon fuel pump. Mine is stuffed and don't want to buy a new pump just for a sock . I tried eBay but nothing came up ?

i gave an almost new pump away the other day with a brand new filter sock i never used, too bad they also just threw it out

Why they throw it out ? Gay ,
Well my sock is falling apart lol I was at work went to start the car . Didn't start . Straight away I knew it was fuel pump. So here I am in the work carpark ripping it fuel pump out . And the sock had fallen off and sucked up dirt etc . So called up dad who brought me a spare I had . I used the old sock to get home but it won't be long till it falls off .

he threw it out because he didnt think fuel pumps get damaged by dirt, and "the car has an inline filter" not to mention the fuel tank had s**t in it that could be sucked up
 some people... lol

He"ll be changing fuel pumps soon, especially if the fuel level is low, mine was 1/2 full and it f**k the pump ,
Does anybody know what pump it uses? Walbro xxx ? No auto shop wants to sell me just tue sock lol

No auto shop wants to sell me just tue sock lol yeah well its been through 3 2nd hand standard rodeo pumps in the past year or 2 and the car only ran about half an hour after my almost new falcon pump was put in before it stopped, now a good friend would go down to the auto elecos where the car is now and tell them to try the fuel pump, and maybe replace it and put the filter sock on but he was silly enough to put it inthat way ill let them work it out

Fuel pump?
I had a walbro 255 sock . But it's a different shape to the stock el sock .

A 255 will fit in the standard cradle, has to be the internal pump not the external. Yes the walbro sock is different, but, modify it. Use the material and re-manufacture it into the same shape as the E series one

I had a 255 in my car before but sold it with the s/c kit .
Just waiting on my new sock
