Unless you have wads of cash to blow, go with vapor injection, I've had it on my Eb Ghia since 2004 & it's great. s**t all over standard mixer systems for power & economy.

Cheers

Another vote for Vapour Injection, and it can be done DIY if you already have an LPG car.

Cheers

Around 2-2500. But if you look around ebay and stuff you can get them cheaper just have to find someone to fit it. I have a under bonnet kit here in the shed cheap if you want it put it on my BA XR6 turbo motor and couldn't get it to run the motor so I brought another kit instead and installed that.

Um I have a bit of copper that come with the kit but I just have to make sure everything is there as I have it spread over everywhere  The kit will be basically everything that you need under the bonnet so everything outside the bonnet you will have to get like gas tank, filler and what not.

It also comes with the software to tune it so you will be able to tune it all yourself.

It would be $4500 to $6000 depending on who you get the price from and what brand kit they use.

wow thats expensive, we can get the orbital LLI complete engine (green rocker cover) and kit for $1150 from the wreckers, ok you dont get the tank but still.

How the hell can you compare buy a partial second hand kit to a drive in drive out conversion?

Just read some more of the thread.

That add you linked was for an Egas engine, wouldn't even have come with gas converter.
Some times I wish people would get the right info before making comment.

Had a look at the JTG price list, Universal 6cyl liquid injection kit, would sell for $4000 plus installation.

Universal 6cyl Emer vapour injection kit $3000 plus installation.

Emmegas EA-AU vapour injection with economy tank $2300 plus install

Emmegas EA-AU vapour injection with Manchester tank $2430 plus install

Emmegas underbonnet kit universal 6cyl $1735 plus install

I priced an universal 4cyl underbonnet kit that uses a Tomasetto reducer and sprintgas injectors and ECU yesterday. $1000, Only suitable for pre 2004 car only. 6cyl kit shouldn't be much more.

As far as day to day operation of the car it make no difference.
I haven't seen one of them up close yet as most people opt for the Manchester tank or a different brand kit that either comes with manchester/APA/sprintgas branded tanks.
This is a link to the website of the manufacturer of that tank. http://www.drivensave.com.au/

Vapour kits start on petrol and change to gas at a pre set engine temp.
I normally advice people to keep the petrol system operational anyway, the range offered by carrying that much combined fuel is good and you always have petrol for a back up if you can't get LPG
