there was a company in Sydney that were trying this. They found you needed to flow much more than petrol. They also had problems with wear from lack of lubricant..
Here's an Idea? detroit diesel injectors! should flow enough... still got the lube problem though! the thing is there are now commercially available LPG injectors.

Im not sure if there was a company trying that - but the guys at GTI (www.gas-injection.com) tried that before they custom built their injectors. It did work, for a few minutes before the injectors froze up.

I was lucky - in 99 I was asking the right person at the right time about the right thing, and was offered an install.

When it comes to SGI on a new car do your research I've fitted a couple of different brands of SGI systems & what you need to do is find out what the warranty policy is inregards to the install as some SGI systems are buring out new catts & some are have ECU emultion problems aswell, which the dealer can automaticly null & voild the warranty at there discression .....IMO the impco SGI kit is possibly one of the safest, proven & well researched kit on the market with the best warranty ..... the other kit that I would of love to have seen on the market is the one that Nigel has from Bill Campbell the GTI set up which I've had the privlege in finally seen one.....as for Dr Gas.......good luck......????

personally I preferr the positive set as I get good results in both std & modified aplications as a fixed mixture.....

just my 2 cents worth
