Hi everyone. I have a 93 ED that has been fitted with a 97 el motor, bbm, thermos, ecu and other stuff anyway I want to fit the gas system that I had when the old motor was in but the old venturi type mixer wont fit. Sooo what should I do. I know I will be up for a new mixer at least I just want to know what is the best and least restrictive mixer is and what they are worth.

I bought the EL mixer from Ford for mine, it went really well.
Unfortunately you don't have a big choice in the range, they're all pretty much the same... Just simple mixers.

You can go to any LPG fitter and buy a mixer for it, it will probably be cheaper that way.
I bought the original one because i get a good discount at Ford. You basically need a simple mixer to suit EF or EL depending on which intake setup you're running. Cost at an LPG place will be roughly $80, more or less.

Just a quick update I had a chat to my LPG guy and he recommended using an AU gas throttlebody. The mixer is housed inside the t/b and is a better install when using it.

Yeah i came close to doing that with my EF, but to me it was still too restrictive.
It was going to cost me $150 new from Ford but i went against it.

I found mine at the wreckers for $50 and had the gas guy check it out.
