I have a EasyJet injected gas system on a BA falcon and it has run flawlessly for 300K, now something has gone wrong I believe with the converter it is the one below:

http://www.poliauto.net/vir_2_gas_regulator.html

When you switch to gas I can see the lines to the injectors puff up a bit but and it does idle however as soon as you touch the throttle it dies and a charge of gas blows off the hose on the bottom which provides MAP pressure, it almost like it over pressurized or something.

Do anyone have a clue what sort of failure would cause it to do this ? Filter, Solenoid ?

Thanks in advance.

I reckon you will find the diaphram inside the regulator might have a tear in it.

I've got EasyJet on my EB Ghia, had it installed back in late 04 or early 05, been ages and can't remember exactly right now, done about 350,000kms on it but am having a few issues with it currently, which I think could be a weak or slightly torn diaphram in the regulator.

There are diaphram kits available and there is almost nothing to the regulator, wouldn't be hard to open yours and inspect it.

Cheers
