this was mick doohan in an awesome clk65. (last pic) unfortunately he didn't stop and park so i didn't get an opportunity to get that one. oh well. i have a soft spot for mercs.

Lol, everywhere i went i came across these guys. That F40 makes the most amazing noises!!

yeah that was hutt st after the event. got there about 4ish. still a fair few rolling in. first time i've gone and looked at them like that. another 'must do' in the calendar from here on in. much better than any motorshow. love the sound of the ferrari's. very unique and they love to rev.

Definately mate. Ive been a keen spectator since my first one a few years ago.

Some great spots throughout the hills to kick back with a deck chair and take some photos.

Very unfortunate they've cancelled the old freeway and windy point stages.

last time i went was 3 or so years ago up the eagle on the hill rd. i didn't mind it but wasn't hooked on it. competition class went last and even then where we were you only got to see them for couple hundred metres and then they're gone. most of it was just a parade. the thing with that was, once you were there you couldn't leave as the road was blocked off.

would've been good to see the prologue but didn't even know it was on until after that. will have to keep my ear closer to the ground in the future. one of the guys a work with has a mate in the event. drove the orange charger e49.
