Yeah I gotta say I'm surprised, what with people talking about how Holden moved the wheels further front and out on the VE, so that they'd be able to race harder with a wider "track".

Anyway, shame I was down Surfers today and couldn't watch, but good news indeed.

The 'VE' race ars, are exactly the same as the VZ's beforehand. Holden aren't allowed to use the new VE wheelbase and track changes as it's outside the rules for the category.

You'll notice the rear doors on the VE super cars are significantly shortened compared to the road going ones.

The VE cars are only shells and not underneath like rollcages etc! Was speaking to Greg Murphy last bathurst and said that its only cosmetic changes.

Yeh i hate skaife with a passion.arrogant.
I cant believe its been 19 years since last 1,2,3 on the podium for ford.
imagine if we still had ambrose with these other ford drivers coming into form.
i think the holdens would get smashed a lot more. :D

we did have bright also set for a top 4 spot... and winterbootom... so could have been easily a ford 1-2-3-4-5 finish!!!
