just read about a certain ford mag editor that trashed their newly finished xy gt mockup car into a tree after leaving his local pub he thought he would give the onlookers a bit of a demo and came unstuck in a big way anyone got anymore on this legend?

By the sounds of things that'd of been andrew berry of Performance Ford Magazine. Havent heard anything of it though.
So yeah if anyone else would like to shed some more light on it.
BTW whered you hear this from?

guys that told me about it had actually seen the thing and it was that bad it was in the process of having the rear of the car removed to be made into a couch :cry:

Yeah thats why i thought this was a bit suss to start with. Surely if it actually happened, someone out of the rumoured numourous people would have gotten atleast one photo, and i think andrew berry is a bit smarter then that to go and show off and crash his car that he has worked hard on.

Read what he wrote about the car mate. The way he spoke about it, he clearly had a very big soft spot for the car. And how many dimwitted idiots do you see being magazine editors or being extremely high in a magazine?

i sore a xy gt absolutly awesome car back into the back of a honda at a pub one night. When i asked if his ok he said alls good but i thought i hit a parked bmw. seen him again on the weekend $1200 damage to his car and $3500 to the honda.
