What are people winding up their supercharged V6 commodore engines up to without coolers? 10-12psi? sure, but then its not 'just' a pulley upgrade  and sure as hell won't be cheap. the supercharged V6 motors probably run lower compression then the coyote, completely different ballgame. I'm sure there will be some movement without a cooler, but its all speculation until someone does it. Its not all about compression and boost. Too many other variables these days. At uni we ran a 12:1 compression engine with 12-15psi boost with a tiny A2A cooler and it never ever pinged. Combustion chamber design is where its at these days. And I believe coyote is far enough ahead of the old technology that many tuners will have to rethink their strategies in terms of limiting factors.
